While in Tororo, getting around is easy.

Go boda boda style

Just hail the nearest boda boda and make them give you a tour of the town. A boda boda is a small motorcycle or a bike - you sit on the backseat, as simple as that.
It is easy and a cheap and fun way to get around. Most fres are done for 1500 - 3000 USH.

The Matatu-way

If you want to take a longer trip outside of the city, you can choose to go by Matatu - a minibus which is the most efficient means of public transportation. Matatus regularly go from Kampala, Jinja, Mbale or Malaba at the Kenyan border to Tororo.

Rent a car

If you wish to rent a car, please call us in advance. We can always arrange something.

Typically, a good car, including a driver, will cost you about 100-150 dollars per day. To that price you should add the cost of fuel.
